It's a beautiful day...

ODD

If you look closely, really closely, you might make out the roof of a tent in the distance. The rain soaked our lands and grass grew. Even in the middle of December we still continue to receive showers of blessings. Though one would argue if really these are showers of blessings. We all love blessings, we pray for them, we can also agree that too much of anything is poisonous. It's beginning to feel that way with this drawn out rainy season

Still, nature looks bewitchingly lovely and being in nature's quiet is a medicine to the soul better than any other ever invented by man. A good rest away from man-made noise and humans does so much good. You should try it. Everyone should have the chance to go camping at least once in their life time. I am sure after the first there will be a second them inevitably a third. That is what nature does, it draws you in and before you know it you are one.

Nature is one thing. Beautiful thing.

Tent, nature, quiet. If that trifecta does not creep you out, well, it does me. Surely there is no tent out there in the thick forest and if there is, it is not mine. I watch nature from a distance, I appreciate it from the comforts of man-made luxuries. I love it in the knowledge that it could never be me up in a tree house. So, no. Nothing is in the distance but the beauty of God's creation.
